महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-48, verse-17

एष देवान्सहेन्द्रेण जित्वा परपुरंजयः ।
अतर्पयन्महाबाहुरर्जुनो जातवेदसम् ।
नारायणस्तथैवात्र भूयसोऽन्याञ्जघान ह ॥१७॥
17. eṣa devānsahendreṇa jitvā parapuraṁjayaḥ ,
atarpayanmahābāhurarjuno jātavedasam ,
nārāyaṇastathaivātra bhūyaso'nyāñjaghāna ha.
17. eṣa devān saha indreṇa jitvā
parapuraṃjayaḥ atarpayat mahābāhuḥ
arjunaḥ jātavedasam nārāyaṇaḥ tathā
eva atra bhūyasaḥ anyān jaghāna ha
17. This mighty-armed Arjuna, the conqueror of enemy cities, having vanquished the gods along with Indra, satisfied Agni. Similarly, Narayana (Krishna) here indeed slew many others.
