महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-36, verse-9

नोत्सहे कुरुभिर्योद्धुं रोमहर्षं हि पश्य मे ।
बहुप्रवीरमत्युग्रं देवैरपि दुरासदम् ।
प्रतियोद्धुं न शक्ष्यामि कुरुसैन्यमनन्तकम् ॥९॥
9. notsahe kurubhiryoddhuṁ romaharṣaṁ hi paśya me ,
bahupravīramatyugraṁ devairapi durāsadam ,
pratiyoddhuṁ na śakṣyāmi kurusainyamanantakam.
9. na utsahe kurubhiḥ yoddhum romaharṣam
hi paśya me bahupravīram atyugram
devaiḥ api durāsadam pratiyoddhum
na śakṣyāmi kurusainyam anantakam
9. I am unable to fight against the Kurus. Indeed, look at my hair standing on end (romaharṣa). I will not be able to fight back against this Kuru army (kurusainyam), which has many great heroes (bahupravīra), is extremely formidable, is invincible even by the gods, and is limitless (anantaka).
