महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-36, verse-40

हेमदण्डप्रतिच्छन्नं रथं युक्तं च सुव्रजैः ।
मत्तांश्च दश मातङ्गान्मुञ्च मां त्वं बृहन्नडे ॥४०॥
40. hemadaṇḍapraticchannaṁ rathaṁ yuktaṁ ca suvrajaiḥ ,
mattāṁśca daśa mātaṅgānmuñca māṁ tvaṁ bṛhannaḍe.
40. hemadaṇḍapratichannam ratham yuktam ca suvrajaiḥ
mattān ca daśa mātaṅgān muñca mām tvam bṛhannale
40. O Bṛhannalā, release me (and I will give you) a chariot adorned with golden shafts and equipped with excellent horses, and ten intoxicated elephants.
