महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-36, verse-16

सोऽहमेको बहून्बालः कृतास्त्रानकृतश्रमः ।
प्रतियोद्धुं न शक्ष्यामि निवर्तस्व बृहन्नडे ॥१६॥
16. so'hameko bahūnbālaḥ kṛtāstrānakṛtaśramaḥ ,
pratiyoddhuṁ na śakṣyāmi nivartasva bṛhannaḍe.
16. saḥ aham ekaḥ bahūn bālaḥ kṛtāstrān akṛtaśramaḥ
pratiyoddhum na śakṣyāmi nivartasva bṛhannale
16. Therefore, I, a mere boy, alone and inexperienced, will not be able to fight against so many who are skilled in weapons. Turn back, O Bṛhannalā!
