महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-36, verse-35

स नो मन्ये ध्वजान्दृष्ट्वा भीत एष पलायति ।
तं नूनमेष धावन्तं जिघृक्षति धनंजयः ॥३५॥
35. sa no manye dhvajāndṛṣṭvā bhīta eṣa palāyati ,
taṁ nūnameṣa dhāvantaṁ jighṛkṣati dhanaṁjayaḥ.
35. saḥ no manye dhvajān dṛṣṭvā bhītaḥ eṣaḥ palāyati
tam nūnam eṣaḥ dhāvantam jighṛkṣati dhanañjayaḥ
35. “I think this Uttara, having seen our banners, is afraid and is fleeing. Surely, Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) wishes to seize him as he runs.”
