अथ वा ते घृणा काचित्प्रायश्चित्तं चरिष्यसि ।
मा त्वेवानार्यजुष्टेन कर्मणा निधनं गमः ॥४६॥

Or, if you have some compassion (ghṛṇā), you may perform atonement. But certainly do not meet your end through an ignoble act (karma).
