महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-36, verse-14

मेरुप्रपातं प्रपतञ्ज्वलनं वा समाविशन् ।
महाप्रस्थानमातिष्ठन्मुच्यते सर्वकिल्बिषैः ॥१४॥
14. meruprapātaṁ prapatañjvalanaṁ vā samāviśan ,
mahāprasthānamātiṣṭhanmucyate sarvakilbiṣaiḥ.

14. By falling from a precipice (like Mount Meru), or by entering fire, or by undertaking the great departure (mahāprasthāna), one is liberated (mokṣa) from all sins.
