स्त्रियस्त्वाशङ्किताः पापैर्नोपगम्या हि जानता ।

However, women, who are (at times) regarded as tainted by impurities, should certainly not be approached by a discerning person. They are purified by their menstruation (rajasa), just as a vessel is purified by ash.
