महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-36, verse-40

भक्ष्याभक्ष्येषु सर्वेषु वाच्यावाच्ये तथैव च ।
अज्ञानज्ञानयो राजन्विहितान्यनुजानते ॥४०॥
40. bhakṣyābhakṣyeṣu sarveṣu vācyāvācye tathaiva ca ,
ajñānajñānayo rājanvihitānyanujānate.

ca ajñānajñānayoḥ rājan vihitāni anujānate
40. rājan sarveṣu bhakṣyābhakṣyeṣu vācyāvācye

40. O King, concerning all that is eatable and uneatable, speakable and unspeakable, and concerning matters of ignorance and knowledge, (the wise) acknowledge what is prescribed (by natural law/scriptures).
