महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-1, verse-36

न चैव विवृतो मन्त्रः पृथायास्तस्य वा मुने ।
अथ शूरो महेष्वासः पार्थेनासौ निपातितः ॥३६॥
36. na caiva vivṛto mantraḥ pṛthāyāstasya vā mune ,
atha śūro maheṣvāsaḥ pārthenāsau nipātitaḥ.
36. na ca eva vivṛtaḥ mantraḥ pṛthāyāḥ tasya vā mune |
atha śūraḥ mahā-iṣv-āsaḥ pār-thena asau nipātitaḥ
36. mune ca eva pṛthāyāḥ vā tasya mantraḥ na vivṛtaḥ
atha śūraḥ mahā-iṣv-āsaḥ asau pār-thena nipātitaḥ
36. And indeed, that secret counsel (mantra) of Pṛthā or his was not revealed, O sage. Then that valiant great archer was slain by Arjuna (Pārtha).
