महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-93, verse-30

ज्ञात्वा तथापनीतां तां वसुभिर्दिव्यदर्शनः ।
ययौ क्रोधवशं सद्यः शशाप च वसूंस्तदा ॥३०॥
30. jñātvā tathāpanītāṁ tāṁ vasubhirdivyadarśanaḥ ,
yayau krodhavaśaṁ sadyaḥ śaśāpa ca vasūṁstadā.
30. jñātvā tathā apanītām tām vasubhiḥ divyadarśanaḥ
yayau krodhavaśam sadyaḥ śaśāpa ca vasūn tadā
30. Knowing that the cow had been thus taken away by the Vasus, the sage, who possessed divine sight, immediately succumbed to anger and then cursed the Vasus.
