तया कमलपत्राक्ष्या नियुक्तो द्यौस्तदा नृप ।
ऋषेस्तस्य तपस्तीव्रं न शशाक निरीक्षितुम् ।

27. O King, Dyaus, thus commanded by that lotus-eyed one, was then unable to withstand the sage's intense austerity. That cow was indeed carried off by him, but the adverse consequence was not foreseen.
