महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-93, verse-28

अथाश्रमपदं प्राप्तः फलान्यादाय वारुणिः ।
न चापश्यत गां तत्र सवत्सां काननोत्तमे ॥२८॥
28. athāśramapadaṁ prāptaḥ phalānyādāya vāruṇiḥ ,
na cāpaśyata gāṁ tatra savatsāṁ kānanottame.

na ca apaśyat gām tatra savatsām kānanottame
28. Then Varuṇa's son, having reached his hermitage after collecting fruits, did not see the cow with her calf there, in that excellent forest.
