महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-55, verse-6

मृते पितरि ते वीरा वनादेत्य स्वमन्दिरम् ।
नचिरादिव विद्वांसो वेदे धनुषि चाभवन् ॥६॥
6. mṛte pitari te vīrā vanādetya svamandiram ,
nacirādiva vidvāṁso vede dhanuṣi cābhavan.

nacirāt iva vidvāṃsaḥ vede dhanuṣi ca abhavan
6. After their father died, those heroes, returning from the forest to their own palace, quickly became learned in the Vedas and in archery.
