महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-55, verse-23

त उक्ता धृतराष्ट्रेण राज्ञा शांतनवेन च ।
भ्रातृभिर्विग्रहस्तात कथं वो न भवेदिति ।
अस्माभिः खाण्डवप्रस्थे युष्मद्वासोऽनुचिन्तितः ॥२३॥
23. ta uktā dhṛtarāṣṭreṇa rājñā śāṁtanavena ca ,
bhrātṛbhirvigrahastāta kathaṁ vo na bhavediti ,
asmābhiḥ khāṇḍavaprasthe yuṣmadvāso'nucintitaḥ.
23. te uktāḥ dhṛtarāṣṭreṇa rājñā śāntanavena
ca bhrātṛbhiḥ vigrahaḥ tāta
katham vaḥ na bhavet iti asmābhiḥ
khāṇḍavaprathe yuṣmadvāsaḥ anucintitaḥ
23. They were addressed by King Dhṛtarāṣṭra and by Śāntanu's son (Bhīṣma), (who said): 'Dear ones, how can it be that there should be no conflict for you with your brothers? Therefore, your residence in Khāṇḍavaprastha has been arranged by us.'
