महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-55, verse-27

एवं धर्मप्रधानास्ते सत्यव्रतपरायणाः ।
अप्रमत्तोत्थिताः क्षान्ताः प्रतपन्तोऽहितांस्तदा ॥२७॥
27. evaṁ dharmapradhānāste satyavrataparāyaṇāḥ ,
apramattotthitāḥ kṣāntāḥ pratapanto'hitāṁstadā.
27. evam dharmapradhānāḥ te satyavrataparāyaṇāḥ
apramattotthitāḥ kṣāntāḥ pratapantaḥ ahitān tadā
27. Thus, they were devoted to righteousness, firm in their vows of truth, ever vigilant and active, patient, and at that time, they tormented their enemies.
