महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-55, verse-5

यथा च युद्धमभवत्पृथिवीक्षयकारकम् ।
तत्तेऽहं संप्रवक्ष्यामि पृच्छते भरतर्षभ ॥५॥
5. yathā ca yuddhamabhavatpṛthivīkṣayakārakam ,
tatte'haṁ saṁpravakṣyāmi pṛcchate bharatarṣabha.

te aham sampravakṣyāmi pṛcchate bharatarṣabha
5. And how the war, which caused the destruction of the earth, occurred—that I will fully explain to you, O best of Bharatas, as you inquire.
