महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-166, verse-9

हंसि राक्षसवद्यस्माद्राजापसद तापसम् ।
तस्मात्त्वमद्य प्रभृति पुरुषादो भविष्यसि ॥९॥
9. haṁsi rākṣasavadyasmādrājāpasada tāpasam ,
tasmāttvamadya prabhṛti puruṣādo bhaviṣyasi.
9. haṃsi rākṣasavat yasmāt rājāpasada tāpasam
tasmāt tvam adya prabhṛti puruṣādas bhaviṣyasi
9. Because you, O wicked king, kill a hermit like a demon, therefore, from today onwards, you shall become a man-eater.
