महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-166, verse-31

यस्मादभोज्यमन्नं मे ददाति स नराधिपः ।
तस्मात्तस्यैव मूढस्य भविष्यत्यत्र लोलुपा ॥३१॥
31. yasmādabhojyamannaṁ me dadāti sa narādhipaḥ ,
tasmāttasyaiva mūḍhasya bhaviṣyatyatra lolupā.
31. yasmāt abhojyam annam me dadāti saḥ narādhipaḥ
tasmāt tasya eva mūḍhasya bhaviṣyati atra lolupā
31. Since that king gives me food that is unfit to be eaten, therefore, that foolish one himself will develop a craving (lolupā) for it.
