महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-166, verse-28

तथेत्युक्त्वा ततः सूदः संस्थानं वध्यघातिनाम् ।
गत्वा जहार त्वरितो नरमांसमपेतभीः ॥२८॥
28. tathetyuktvā tataḥ sūdaḥ saṁsthānaṁ vadhyaghātinām ,
gatvā jahāra tvarito naramāṁsamapetabhīḥ.
28. tathā iti uktvā tataḥ sūdaḥ saṃsthānaṃ vadhyaghātinām
gatvā jahāra tvaritaḥ naramāṃsam apeta-bhīḥ
28. Having assented, the fearless cook then quickly went to the executioners' quarter and fetched human flesh.
