महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-165, verse-7

तमागतमभिप्रेक्ष्य वसिष्ठः श्रेष्ठभागृषिः ।
विश्वामित्रं नरश्रेष्ठं प्रतिजग्राह पूजया ॥७॥
7. tamāgatamabhiprekṣya vasiṣṭhaḥ śreṣṭhabhāgṛṣiḥ ,
viśvāmitraṁ naraśreṣṭhaṁ pratijagrāha pūjayā.

7. Seeing Vishvamitra, who was the best of men and had arrived, Vasishtha, the most excellent sage (ṛṣi), received him with honor.
