महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-165, verse-15

अभिनन्दति तां नन्दीं वसिष्ठस्य पयस्विनीम् ।
अब्रवीच्च भृशं तुष्टो विश्वामित्रो मुनिं तदा ॥१५॥
15. abhinandati tāṁ nandīṁ vasiṣṭhasya payasvinīm ,
abravīcca bhṛśaṁ tuṣṭo viśvāmitro muniṁ tadā.

abravīt ca bhṛśam tuṣṭaḥ viśvāmitraḥ munim tadā
15. Viśvāmitra praised Nandinī, the abundant milk-giving cow belonging to Vasiṣṭha. Then, greatly pleased, he (Viśvāmitra) spoke to the sage (muni).
