स गत्वा तपसा सिद्धिं लोकान्विष्टभ्य तेजसा ।

44.
He, having achieved spiritual perfection (siddhi) through his asceticism (tapas) and pervaded the worlds with his radiance, shone with brilliant energy, thus attaining the status of a brahmin. And Kauśika (Viśvāmitra) also drank the Soma (soma) with Indra.
