महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-13, verse-8

तस्मादहमुपश्रुत्य प्रवक्ष्यामि यथातथम् ।
इदमास्तीकमाख्यानं तुभ्यं शौनक पृच्छते ॥८॥
8. tasmādahamupaśrutya pravakṣyāmi yathātatham ,
idamāstīkamākhyānaṁ tubhyaṁ śaunaka pṛcchate.

idam āstīkam ākhyānam tubhyam śaunaka pṛcchate
8. Therefore, having heard it, I will accurately narrate this tale of Āstīka to you, O Śaunaka, since you are asking.
