महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-13, verse-42

देवांश्च तर्पयामास यज्ञैर्विविधदक्षिणैः ।
ऋषींश्च ब्रह्मचर्येण संतत्या च पितामहान् ॥४२॥
42. devāṁśca tarpayāmāsa yajñairvividhadakṣiṇaiḥ ,
ṛṣīṁśca brahmacaryeṇa saṁtatyā ca pitāmahān.
