महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-13, verse-30

स कदाचिद्वनं गत्वा विप्रः पितृवचः स्मरन् ।
चुक्रोश कन्याभिक्षार्थी तिस्रो वाचः शनैरिव ॥३०॥
30. sa kadācidvanaṁ gatvā vipraḥ pitṛvacaḥ smaran ,
cukrośa kanyābhikṣārthī tisro vācaḥ śanairiva.

30. One day, the Brahmin, remembering his father's words, went to the forest. There, seeking a maiden, he cried out three calls, as if softly.
