Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Just as a tree (aga) spontaneously creates a diversity of branches without any prior conscious intention, similarly, the unborn (aja) [Supreme Being] manifests the variegated appearances of creation (sargābhāsa) within space itself (kha eva kham), which is its own nature.
