Just as the rays (arciṣaḥ) of jewels (ratnādīnām) and similar things arise spontaneously (abuddhipūrvam saṃjātāḥ), so too, the very existence (sattā eva) of these world-appearances (jagaddṛśām) comes about through their arrangement (saṃniveśena) in the same way (tathaiva).
