जातमेव न तज्जातं जातं यत्कारणं विना ।

Indeed, that which appears to be born (jātam eva) without a cause (kāraṇam vinā) is not truly born (na tat jātam). Since it is unborn (ajātām), that very thing (tat eva) remains established (saṃsthitam) in that same [unborn] state (tat samam) even today (adya), thus.
