योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-117, verse-34

मा भूत्कस्यचिदेवैषा राजन्व्यसनिता भृशम् ।
पश्यैतां बिम्बितां हंसो हंसीमनुसरन्मृतः ॥ ३४ ॥
mā bhūtkasyacidevaiṣā rājanvyasanitā bhṛśam ,
paśyaitāṃ bimbitāṃ haṃso haṃsīmanusaranmṛtaḥ 34
34. mā bhūt kasyacid eva eṣā rājan vyasanitā bhṛśam
paśya etām bimbitām haṃsaḥ haṃsīm anusaran mṛtaḥ
34. rājan,
eṣā bhṛśam vyasanitā kasyacid eva mā bhūt.
etām bimbitām haṃsīm anusaran mṛtaḥ haṃsaḥ paśya.
34. O King, may such intense infatuation (vyasanitā) never afflict anyone! Look at this swan (haṃsa), who died pursuing his female swan (haṃsī) as she was reflected (in the water).
