योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-117, verse-26

मत्ता मधुमदामोदैः पुष्करेषु रणन्ति ये ।
तुष्टानामितरस्वादैर्भ्रमराणां हसन्ति ते ॥ २६ ॥
mattā madhumadāmodaiḥ puṣkareṣu raṇanti ye ,
tuṣṭānāmitarasvādairbhramarāṇāṃ hasanti te 26
26. mattāḥ madhumadāmodaiḥ puṣkareṣu raṇanti ye
tuṣṭānām itarasvādaiḥ bhramarāṇām hasanti te
26. ye mattāḥ madhumadāmodaiḥ puṣkareṣu raṇanti,
te itarasvādaiḥ tuṣṭānām bhramarāṇām hasanti
26. Those (bumblebees) who, intoxicated by the fragrant delight of honey, buzz amidst the lotuses – they mock the other bumblebees who are content with lesser flavors.
