योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-92, verse-36

वासनासंपरित्यागः प्राणस्पन्दनिरोधनम् ।
एतास्ता युक्तयः पुष्टाः सन्ति चित्तजये किल ॥ ३६ ॥

etāstā yuktayaḥ puṣṭāḥ santi cittajaye kila 36

36. vāsanāsamparityāgaḥ,
prāṇaspandananirodhanam ca,
etāḥ tāḥ puṣṭāḥ yuktayaḥ cittajaye santi kila.
36. The complete abandonment of latent impressions (vāsanāsaṃparityāga) and the cessation of the vibration of the vital breath (prāṇaspandananirodhanam)— these, indeed, are the strong methods (yukti) for conquering the mind (cittajaya).
