योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-92, verse-25

वासनासंपरित्यागसमं प्राणनिरोधनम् ।
विदुस्तत्त्वविदस्तस्मात्तदाप्येवं समाहरेत् ॥ २५ ॥
vāsanāsaṃparityāgasamaṃ prāṇanirodhanam ,
vidustattvavidastasmāttadāpyevaṃ samāharet 25
25. vāsanāsaṃparityāga samam prāṇanirodhanam viduḥ
tattvavidaḥ tasmāt tadā api evam samāharet

prāṇanirodhanam viduḥ tasmāt tadā api evam samāharet
25. The knowers of truth (tattva) declare the restraint of the vital breath (prāṇa) to be equivalent to the complete abandonment of latent impressions (vāsanā). Therefore, one should practice thus (samāharet) even at that time.
