योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-92, verse-13

यावन्न वासनानाशस्तावत्तत्त्वागमः कुतः ।
यावन्न तत्त्वसंप्राप्तिर्न तावद्वासनाक्षयः ॥ १३ ॥
yāvanna vāsanānāśastāvattattvāgamaḥ kutaḥ ,
yāvanna tattvasaṃprāptirna tāvadvāsanākṣayaḥ 13
13. yāvat na vāsanānāśaḥ tāvat tattvāgamaḥ kutaḥ
yāvat na tattvasamprāptiḥ na tāvat vāsanākṣayaḥ

13. As long as latent impressions (vāsanā) are not destroyed, from where can the understanding of reality (tattva) arise? And as long as reality (tattva) is not fully attained, there is no cessation of latent impressions (vāsanā).
