jagati tāḥ sukha-duḥkha-daśāḥ na vidyante,
yāḥ saṃyoga-ja-viyoga-jāḥ jīvadbhiḥ na dṛśyante

My friend, there do not exist in the world any states of happiness and sorrow that are not experienced by living beings, whether they arise from union or from separation.
