योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-61, verse-13

प्रजानाशप्रतीकारेष्वसमर्थो विरागवान् ।
जगाम विपिने कर्तुं तपोऽजिनमुनीन्द्रवत् ॥ १३ ॥

13. Being incapable of remedial actions for the destruction of his subjects, and filled with detachment (virāgavat), he went to the forest to perform austerities (tapas), just like Ajina, the foremost among sages (munīndra).
