योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-61, verse-10

कदाचित्परिघस्याभूदवर्षं मण्डले महत् ।
कल्पान्त इव संसारे प्रजादुष्कृतदोषजम् ॥ १० ॥
kadācitparighasyābhūdavarṣaṃ maṇḍale mahat ,
kalpānta iva saṃsāre prajāduṣkṛtadoṣajam 10

10. Once, a severe drought occurred in Parigha's region, as if at the end of a cosmic age (kalpa), caused by the faults of the people's misdeeds within the cycle of existence (saṃsāra).
