योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-45, verse-15

प्रसूतमथ शैलेषु पुत्रान्निजकुलाङ्कुरान् ।
अत्यन्तविषमोदन्तान्खदिरः कण्टकानिव ॥ १५ ॥

15. Then, the Khadira tree (khadira) bore sons, sprouts of its own family, whose situation was exceedingly harsh, just like thorns.
