योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-22, verse-21

प्रतापोग्रोष्मभिर्यस्य कल्पकाल इवाब्धयः ।
ययुः शोषोन्मुखाः सप्त सप्ततां कुपिताकृतेः ॥ २१ ॥
pratāpogroṣmabhiryasya kalpakāla ivābdhayaḥ ,
yayuḥ śoṣonmukhāḥ sapta saptatāṃ kupitākṛteḥ 21
21. pratāpa-ugra-ūṣmabhiḥ yasya kalpa-kāle iva abdhayaḥ
yayuḥ śoṣa-unmukhāḥ sapta saptatām kupita-ākṛteḥ
21. yasya kupita-ākṛteḥ pratāpa-ugra-ūṣmabhiḥ,
kalpa-kāle iva,
sapta abdhayaḥ saptatām śoṣa-unmukhāḥ yayuḥ
21. By the fierce heat of whose glory, the seven oceans, like (those at) the time of cosmic dissolution (kalpa), became on the verge of drying up, all seven of them, due to his angry form.
