O best of the twice-born (dvija), as I contemplate this astonishing narrative (ākhyāna) and commentary (vyākhyāna) on the perspectives of the scriptures (śāstra-dṛṣṭi), I feel as if I am attaining peace and approaching liberation (nirvāṇa).
