योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-50, verse-8

ततोऽपि निर्ययुर्नद्यो हेतीनां हतहेतयः ।
शरशक्तिगदाप्रासपट्टिशादिपयोमयाः ॥ ८ ॥
tato'pi niryayurnadyo hetīnāṃ hatahetayaḥ ,
śaraśaktigadāprāsapaṭṭiśādipayomayāḥ 8
8. tataḥ api niryayuḥ nadyaḥ hetīnām hatahetayaḥ
śaraśaktigadāprāsapaṭṭiśa ādi payomayāḥ
8. tataḥ api hetīnām hatahetayaḥ
śaraśaktigadāprāsapaṭṭiśa ādi payomayāḥ nadyaḥ niryayuḥ
8. From that (weapon), also, rivers emerged, consisting of missiles (astra), which destroyed other missiles, and were composed of arrows, spears, maces, javelins, battle-axes, and similar armaments.
