अथ योऽसौ शरस्तेन वैष्णवास्त्राभिमन्त्रितः ।
मुक्तस्तस्य फलप्रान्तादुल्मुका दिवि निर्ययौ ॥ ३ ॥

3. Then, from the tip of that arrow, which he had released and consecrated with the Vaiṣṇava missile (astra), blazing firebrands emerged into the sky.
