योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-50, verse-23

अन्योन्यं शममायाते सवीर्ये सुभटाविव ।
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे सोऽग्नी रथं कृत्वा तु भस्मसात् ॥ २३ ॥
anyonyaṃ śamamāyāte savīrye subhaṭāviva ,
etasminnantare so'gnī rathaṃ kṛtvā tu bhasmasāt 23

antare saḥ agniḥ ratham kṛtvā tu bhasmasāt

23. As they, like two valorous heroes, mutually reached exhaustion, at that very moment, Agni (the fire-god or fire-like warrior) indeed reduced the chariot to ashes.
