योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-50, verse-30

अप्रियस्य यथा भर्तुरनिच्छन्ती स्वकामिनी ।
तेन शक्तिप्रहारेण नासौ मरणमाप्तवान् ॥ ३० ॥
apriyasya yathā bharturanicchantī svakāminī ,
tena śaktiprahāreṇa nāsau maraṇamāptavān 30
30. apriyasya yathā bhartuḥ anicchanti svakāminī
tena śakti-prahāreṇa na asau maraṇam āptavān
30. yathā svakāminī apriyasya bhartuḥ anicchanti
tena śakti-prahāreṇa asau maraṇam na āptavān
30. Just as one's own beloved wife (svakāminī), unwilling (anicchanti) [to be with] a disliked husband (apriyasya bhartuḥ), endures; so too, even with that powerful spear-attack (śakti-prahāreṇa), he did not attain death (maraṇam).
