योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-50, verse-43

पद्मरागगिरिद्योतमिवर्द्धासृग्विमुञ्चति ।
हा हा धिक्कष्टमेतेन सिन्धुना खड्गधारया ॥ ४३ ॥
padmarāgagiridyotamivarddhāsṛgvimuñcati ,
hā hā dhikkaṣṭametena sindhunā khaḍgadhārayā 43
43. padmarāgagiridyotam iva ardhāsṛk vimuñcati hā
hā dhik kaṣṭam etena sindhunā khaḍgadhārayā
43. ardhāsṛk padmarāgagiridyotam iva vimuñcati.
hā hā dhik kaṣṭam.
etena khaḍgadhārayā sindhunā (idam abhavat).
43. It gushes forth blood, appearing like the radiant glow of a ruby mountain. Alas! Alas! Woe! What misery! (This happened) by this stream (of blood flowing) from the sword's edge!
