वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-83, verse-15

सशरैरद्य वदनैः संख्ये वानरयूथपाः ।
मण्डयिष्यन्ति वसुधां सनालैरिव पङ्कलैः ॥१५॥
15. saśarairadya vadanaiḥ saṃkhye vānarayūthapāḥ ,
maṇḍayiṣyanti vasudhāṃ sanālairiva paṅkalaiḥ.
15. sa-śaraiḥ adya vadanaiḥ saṅkhye vānara-yūtha-pāḥ
maṇḍayiṣyanti vasudhām sa-nālaiḥ iva paṅkajaiḥ
15. adya saṅkhye vānara-yūtha-pāḥ sa-śaraiḥ vadanaiḥ
vasudhām sa-nālaiḥ paṅkajaiḥ iva maṇḍayiṣyanti
15. Today, in battle, the leaders of the monkey troops, with their faces pierced by arrows, will decorate the earth as if with lotuses still attached to their stalks.
