स बाणवर्षैरभिवर्ष्यमाणो धारानिपातानिव तान् विचिन्त्य ।
समीक्षमाणः परमाद्भुतश्री रामस्तदा लक्ष्मणमित्युवाच ॥४२॥

42. As he was being deluged by these arrow-showers, Rama, whose radiance was supremely wondrous, considered them like torrents of rain. Then, looking at Lakshmana, he spoke to him thus.
