वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-60, verse-20

ततस्तु हुतभोक्तारं हुतभुक् सदृशप्रभः ।
जुहुवे राक्षसश्रेष्ठो मन्त्रवद्विधिवत्तदा ॥२०॥
20. tatastu hutabhoktāraṃ hutabhuk sadṛśaprabhaḥ ,
juhuve rākṣasaśreṣṭho mantravadvidhivattadā.
20. tataḥ tu huta-bhoktāram huta-bhuk sadṛśa-prabhaḥ
juhuve rākṣasa-śreṣṭhaḥ mantra-vat vidhi-vat tadā
20. tataḥ tu rākṣasa-śreṣṭhaḥ huta-bhuk sadṛśa-prabhaḥ
tadā mantra-vat vidhi-vat huta-bhoktāram juhuve
20. Then, the foremost of the rākṣasas (Indrajit), whose brilliance was like that of fire itself, offered oblations to the fire-god (Agni), with sacred incantations (mantra) and according to the prescribed rites (vidhivat) at that time.
