स हर्षवेगानुगतान्तरात्मा श्रुत्वा वचस्तस्य महारथस्य ।
जहौ ज्वरं दाशरथेः समुत्थितं प्रहृष्य वाचाभिननन्द पुत्रम् ॥४३॥
43. sa harṣavegānugatāntarātmā śrutvā vacastasya mahārathasya ,
jahau jvaraṃ dāśaratheḥ samutthitaṃ prahṛṣya vācābhinananda putram.

43. His inner self overcome by a surge of joy, he (Ravana), upon hearing the words of that great warrior (Indrajit), cast off the anguish that had arisen due to Dasharatha's son (Rama). Filled with delight, he praised his son with words.
