वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-36, verse-20

एवमुक्तास्तु ते सर्वे राक्षसाः कूटयोधिनः ।
परं विस्मयमाजग्मुः कर्मणा तेन तोषिताः ॥२०॥
20. evamuktāstu te sarve rākṣasāḥ kūṭayodhinaḥ ,
paraṃ vismayamājagmuḥ karmaṇā tena toṣitāḥ.

param vismayam ājagmuḥ karmaṇā tena toṣitāḥ
20. Having thus been addressed, all those deceitful demon warriors were greatly astonished and pleased by that feat (karma).
